A New Member Induction fee of $285* is due within your first 30 days of membership. From this fee, $100 is deposited into a Rotary International Annual Sustaining Account in your name. (When $1000 contributed ($25 each quarterly billing) to this account, a Paul Harris Fellow is awarded.) $25 is contributed to our Rotary Club of Des Moines Foundation benefiting scholarship and literacy programs.
*As of 2022 this fee is being waived.
Committees
Committee meetings provide an opportunity to meet other like minded Rotarians. The schedule of committee meetings can be found in the E-bulletin (sent out every Tuesday).
Dues
The quarterly billing for your regular dues is broken into four categories. Dues to the Rotary Club of Des Moines are currently $270. Additionally, $25 is for the Rotary Club of Des Moines Foundation and $25 is also noted on your monthly billing to RI (Rotary International). You also pay $23 for any Thursday lunch you attend. Your total dues are $320 per quarter, plus lunches. Subject to change.
