The Rotary Club of Des Moines was founded in 1911 and is Des Moines’ oldest and largest Rotary Club in Iowa with over 300 members. The Rotary Club of Des Moines is part of Rotary International, a not-for-profit worldwide organization that proves every day that it’s one of the most influential humanitarian service organizations. The mission of Rotary is to provide service to others, to promote high ethical standards and to advance world understanding, goodwill and peace through its fellowship of business, professional and community leaders.

After visiting the club, if you’d like to continue the application process, a current Rotarian will submit a “Membership Proposal Form” to the Board of Directors proposing you for membership to The Rotary Club of Des Moines.
